Dear Ask The Doctor: Hey, I was throwing up yesterday and passed out when doing so. I must have hit my head on the bathtub when i fell to the floor. My head has a huge knot on the back and hurts pretty bad, should i be worried?
Dear Desirae: Any injury to the head, especially after a fall should be assessed by a medical doctor within 24 hours. If there is any symptoms of dizziness, vision problems, new onset numbness or tingling, nausea or vomiting associated with your headache, please go to your local ER as it should be assessed sooner. |
