| Famcyclovir with Benadryl |

Dear Ask The Doctor: I was recently diagnosed with Shingles and am taking a 500mg tablet of Famciclovir 3 times a day. Can I take an over the counter benedryl capsule for itching while I am taking the Famciclovir? Dear Janice: There would be no interactions with taking benadryl and Famcyclovir. It would no effect your treatment. |
